It is a response to the refusal to open the second front - Mdinaradze on the possible sanctioning of Ivanishvili

Mamuka Mdinaradze, MP of the "Georgian Dream", says regarding the possible sanctioning of Bidzina Ivanishvili by Ukraine, that this is a response to the refusal to open the "second front" in the country. According to Mdinaradze, no sanctions will be imposed due to the fact that Georgia refused to join the war.

"If the argument is to get close to someone, then here too there is no evidence, here too is the same kind of ridiculous evidence that we have heard in other cases, evidence in inverted commas, of course. It is not surprising,I am not really surprised, considering that at the time, unfortunately, many leaders of the Russian government found time , and in parallel with and in the wake of Russia's war of occupation, they tried to accuse Georgia of something on the one hand, and on the other hand, requested directly to drag this country in the war and open a second front here, in Georgia. Against the background of non-fulfillment of this, I would not be surprised by any sanctions from their side, and individual representatives may even see to it. This is the answer to the refusal to open second front in this country," said Mdinaradze.

Oleksiy Goncharenko, the Ukrainian Rada MP, said that he has appealed to the President of Ukraine and the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine to put Bidzina Ivanishvili on Ukraine's sanctions list. According to him, Ivanishvili is a Russian agent who bought the government of Georgia.
