The members of "Nika Gvaramia's Freedom Movement" have recently addressed with an official letter the President's administration. Members of the movement ask Salome Zurabishvili to pardon Nika Gvaramia.
"On behalf of the Nika Gvaramia Freedom Movement, we submitted a letter addressed to the President, in which we once again present our rationale and ask the President to pardon Nika Gvaramia. We have attached the case materials, the verdicts of both instances. As you know, we appeal, of course, to the innocence of Nika Gvaramia, to the fact that he is a political prisoner, but regardless of whether the President of Georgia shares this or not, we call on her to be guided by the country's interest, political expediency, and regardless of her personal views on this case, to make the right decision and release Nika Gvaramia," Giorgi Lomidze said.
According to him, based on the public statements of the President, they expected that Nika Gvaramia would be free by now, but they do not have results yet, which is why they continue to act.
