Russian Post launches regular direct air delivery to Georgia

Russian Post, a federal postal operator, has launched regular direct air delivery to Georgia. Air delivery will be carried out to the capital of Georgia from Moscow on the planes of the airline "Azimuth".

The Russian propaganda publication Tass spreads the information based on the press service of the company.

"Post" expects monthly transportation to the country up to 6 tons of parcels. Earlier, the company noted that it would consider direct air transportation to Georgia in the presence of stable flights from several airlines.

In early June, the postal company launched similar air transportation to Armenia from Mineralnye Vody.

"Post" expected a decrease in the cost of the service due to the optimization of the supply chain.
