The bodies of 4 more dead people were found in the disaster zone in Racha

Four more dead were found in the disaster zone in Shovi, Racha. The number of dead has risen to 11.

On August 3, a landslide hit the tourist resort of Racha. The mountain slope fell and the river overflowed as a result of excessive rain, resulting in uncontrolled processes. 

According to the information available, one of the main hotels and several cottages were destroyed. 

According to Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs, 210 persons have been evacuated.

SAR activities are being carried out by two Mi-8 helicopters and 400 rescuers and volunteers.
