"Noble Partner 2020" - multinational exercises at Vaziani military base started

Today the military exercise "Noble Partner 2020" has officially started. The multinational exercise opened in Vaziani, at the testing ground of the Mechanized Brigade No. 4.
The personnel of the participating countries have already arrived in Georgia for the air exercise, and the Ocean Freedom ship with American military equipment has arrived at the port of Poti by sea from the United States.
The opening ceremony was also attended by Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia and Defense Minister Irakli Garibashvili.
According to the Prime Minister, the exercise is a guarantee of peace in Georgia, and the country's role in establishing global peace must be strengthened.
The Georgian military is actively participating in various peacekeeping missions, both under EU and US auspices. We all understand that such exercises give our soldiers the opportunity to defend the global peace,- Gakharia explained.
The Defense Minister said the main message of the exercise is "Strength in partnership".
The desire for strong partnership is the spirit that, despite the global pandemic, has gathered more than 2700 soldiers before us,-Garibashvili said.
For reference, this is the fifth time that "Noble Partner" has been held in Georgia. This year's exercise will end on September 18. The goal of the training is to increase readiness and compatibility between the countries and help maintain a stable and safe environment in the Black Sea region.
