"Why have they been hiding it for 5 days ?!" - majority denies a violent pre-election environment in the country

Published:

Majority leaders do not acknowledge the escalation of violence in the run-up to the elections and say there is a calm situation in the country and all political parties are campaigning quietly.

Mamuka Mdinaradze does not see any political motive in the attack on Kakha Okriashvili's supporters in Dmanisi, and says that "the question is why the opponents have been hiding this fact for 5 days."

Kakha Kaladze, the general secretary of the "Dream" party, says that the opposition wants to present "as if someone is being oppressed", but in fact, according to him, all political entities have the opportunity to hold pre-election meetings and campaigns in an equal and peaceful environment.

Recall that members of Kakha Okriashvili's election headquarters were attacked in Dmanisi and there are videos confirming this.

Today, a local high-ranking official of "Dream" attacked the TV crew of "Mtavari" and threatened to wound  the journalist.
