We believe that "Georgian Dream" will win this election convincingly - Talakvadze on IRI survey

Published:

The Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia responds to the results of the IRI survey. Archil Talakvadze says he believes in his supporters and that "Dream" will convincingly win the 2020 parliamentary elections.

According to him, the ruling team has implemented fundamental and democratic reforms to make the next parliament more balanced and cooperation-oriented.

"There are already a number of authoritative surveys showing that the "Dream" has 56 and even higher percentages of public trust, and all this in the middle of the election campaign. Of course, we believe in our supporters, we trust our citizens and after the successful completion of the campaign we expect this support to grow even more. The existing support is enough for the Georgian Dream to gain a parliamentary majority and form an independent government" Talakvadze said.

Resigned Chairman of the Parliament Irakli Kobakhidze stated that IRI had made incompetent conclusions.

"When any research organization out of 27% states that they do not know who they support, such an organization can be considered unscrupulous.  I am very proficient in researches," Kobakhidze said.
