"No to violence! The right to free choice" - a rally in Batumi

"No to violence! The right to free choice" - this was the slogan of the rally in front of the Batumi District Commission No. 79. The protest rally was triggered by the election of polling station heads on political grounds.

Citizens, together with the United National Movement, claimed that PEC chairpersons and secretaries would only take decisions under pressure from the ruling party, which would significantly increase the influence of the Dream in district commissions.

Over the past three days, district commission chairmen, deputies and secretaries in different districts were elected against a background of noise and controversy.
