If Parliamentary elections were held next Sunday - party rankings in new IPSOS poll

The French company IPSOS carried out the second poll commissioned by the "Mtavari  Channel" a few weeks before the elections.

Based on the responses to the question, which party would you vote for if parliamentary elections were held next Sunday? - the results were distributed as follows:

 If the parliamentary elections were held next Sunday, which party would you vote for?

  • Georgian Dream - 24.5%
  •  UNM and United Opposition - 17.4%
  •  European Georgia - 6.9%
  • Lelo - 3.6%
  • Strategy Builder - 3.4%
  • Labor Party - 1.9%
  •  Girchi - 1.8%
  •  Alliance of Patriots - 1.7%
  •  United Georgia - 1.0%
  •  Citizens - 1.0%
  •  Other parties - 3.8%
  •  Do not know - 19.0%
  •  Refused  to answer- 14.0%

    Answers to the same question with allocation:

    If the parliamentary elections were held next Sunday, which party would you vote for? (allocation results) 

According to the results obtained by allocation ( allocation is a method of vote counting, when a respondent does not openly name a favorite candidate, although analysts still guess who the respondent  is going to vote for) the votes on the same question were distributed as follows:

• Georgian Dream - 37.2%

• UNM and United Opposition - 27.2%

• European Georgia - 10.6%

• Lelo - 6.3%

• Strategy Builder - 6.1%

• Labor Party - 2.1%

• Alliance of Patriots - 2.1%

• Girchi - 1.9%

• United Georgia - 1.8%

• Citizens - 1.7%

• Other parties - 3%


Recall the answers of two weeks ago, with allocation:

• UNM and United Opposition - 26%

• European Georgia - 9%

• Strategy Builder - 5%

• Labor Party - 4%

IPSOS conducted a pre-election poll commissioned by the Mtavari Channel in the period from September 23 to October 1. In total, 1500 respondents were interviewed all over Georgia. The margin of error is + -2.5%.
