As of today, there is no reason to postpone the election - Gakharia

The Prime Minister insists that there is no threat of postponing the elections. Gakharia made the statement after the government session:

As of today, there is no reason to think about postponing the elections. This is the official position. We are leading this process, despite the fact that the number of infected people is growing," says Gakharia.

Today the authorities have imposed restrictions in Tbilisi and Imereti.

The Prime Minister says that the daily number of infected people will exceed 1000 in the coming days, however, as he says, the healthcare system will cope with the process.
