Attacks on activists, incidents of violence - "20/20" Platform publishes a report

Attacks on opposition activists, obstruction of journalistic activities, cases of political party donors, use of administrative resources and the issue of  commission members election - Civic Platform publishes a report on the pre-election period 20/20.

The report states that the 2020 election campaign is held in a tense environment with violence directed against political parties and their representatives.

"The incidents we have uncovered are significant, with a total of 24 incidents of varying severity. The incident in Marneuli, where our observer was also attacked, is also very important," said the CEO of Civic Platform 20/20 Tengo Tevzadze.

The NGO also speaks about election disputes, bias in the election of precinct commission members and inaccuracies in the "cartographers' case".
