According to Irakli Kobakhidze, the executive secretary of the Georgian Dream, the "radical opposition" is considering the scenario of an armed uprising and is studying how people will react to it. He talked about this topic at a special briefing and cited as an example a study commissioned by IPM.
"A survey commissioned by IPM, a company strongly affiliated with the radical opposition, goes beyond all frames. It contains a question -- what form of protest would be acceptable to you if you were not satisfied with the election results. After the hunger strike, a stunning answer was offered - capturing government buildings and using physical or military force to meet demand - which means that, as in 2016, 2018 and elsewhere, the radical opposition is considering the scenario of an armed uprising and studying citizens' reactions. "It resorts to a form of armed confrontation against the state. It's a completely shocking fact," Irakli Kobakhidze said.
According to him, IPM representatives know for sure that their favorite political groups have no prospects to win the elections.
According to him, this is the same company that carries out research of the International Republican Institute (IRI) and they have repeatedly emphasized that the partner company must review the contract.
Kabakhidze also noted today, on October 28, that in addition to the official election headquarters, "National Movement" opened the so-called Revolutionary headquarters headed by former Prime Minister Vano Merabishvili.
