Georgian emigrants living in the United States speak about the facts of pressure from the "Georgian Dream".Ruling party activists contacted Mariam Tsagareishvili, a Georgian citizen living in New York, USA, and offered to transport her to the polling station.
The emigrant told "Mtavar" that his personal data had allegedly been provided by the Georgian consulate in the U.S., in direct violation of the law.
The citizen of Georgia says that the "Georgian Dream" always loses the elections in New York and this explains the extraordinary mobilization of the ruling party.
This is not the first time a Georgian emigrant living in the United States has spoken out about a pre-election violation. One of the internet users says that he was also contacted with the offer of transportation, although it is unknown exactly where the immigrant's contact number was obtained from.
"The fact that the consulate handed over the voter list to supporters of the Georgian Dream," said a Georgian living in New York City on Facebook, "raises my suspicion because otherwise a civilian would not be able to access that information.
However, the Internet user publicly discloses correspondence and the number from which he was contacted, although the person's identity is still unknown.
