Prosecutor's Office demands arrest of Nika Melia

It has recently become known that the prosecutor's office has applied to the court with a motion to change the preventive measure of one of the leaders of the United National Movement, Nika Melia. The agency is requesting a custodial sentence for him.

"Everything that the Georgian Dream will do will be detrimental to itself. I strongly believe in that. The truth is not on their side, a team that pretends to be holding elections, threatening with weapons, conducting raids and behaves as if  nothing is happening. It is absolutely of no importance whether I would have this bracelet on my hand or not, it is not a legal state, "Nika Melia said.

According to Nika Melia, he is ready to fight to the end, and this fight will end up with victory.

According to another UNM leader, Tina Bokuchava, Bidzina Ivanishvili is completely unpredictable, he is in agony.

"For some reason, they still don't know the Georgian people. No one is going to steal elections and tolerate all the other violations. A symbol of civil disobedience is Nika Melia, whom the Dream could not tame and intimidate. We will continue the fight more vigorously," said Tina Bokuchava.

Recall that on November 1, Nika Melia removed his electronic bracelet at a rally in front of the parliament and threw it in the crowd of demonstrators. He says he is no longer going to wear the bracelet because it is a symbol of injustice.
