Initially it was reported that the Prosecutor General's Office demanded that Melia be placed in custody.
Recently, the prosecutor's office filed a petition with the court to change the constraint measure to imprisonment for Nika Melia. The agency made this decision after Nika Melia took off his electronic bracelet at a rally in front of Parliament on November 1 and threw it at the people. He said he was no longer going to wear the bracelet because it was a symbol of injustice.
Nika Melia says that he is not going to wear the bracelet and will fight to the end.
The trial will be held on November 3 at 17:00.
