It was not a legitimate election - opposition leaders sign a joint document

Currently, representatives of opposition parties are concluding a joint agreement under which the opponents of the authorities will sign a statement confirming that they refuse to enter parliament because of illegitimate elections and together will fight against election fraud.

According to Khatuna Samnidze, a leader of the Republican Party and member of the United Opposition, today the opposition party will once again tell the public that it considers the elections illegitimate.

"This is not just a feeling that the elections were rigged, it is confirmed by concrete facts that Bidzina Ivanishvili has stolen the elections. Therefore, these are not legitimate elections and this is not a legitimate parliament because it does not reflect the will of the society, so we are not going to enter such a parliament. ", said Khatuna Samnidze.

"Bidzina Ivanishvili's case is over, now his instinct of self-preservation must start working if he has any left after so much evil and violence, lies, inhumanity," said Shalva Natelashvili, the leader of the Labor Party.

According to the leader of "European Georgia", Davit Bakradze, all the signatory parties and not only those who crossed the threshold agree that the elections do not reflect the will of the Georgian people, and the parties that have overcome the threshold refuse to run for office.

"The demand of the whole opposition and all opposition parties is to hold new elections in the country, where the basic democratic standards will be observed," said David Bakradze.

The opposition has recently signed a joint document.
