This is unconstitutional, I will appeal it -UNM's Khatia Dekanoidze fined with 2 000 GEL

According to Khatia Dekanoidze, member of the United National Movement and majoritarian candidate, she was unfairly fined by the police late last night and is going to  appeal this fact. She is one of the protesters fined by the police with GEL 2,000.

"I went out to get warm clothes; they restricted our right to move and fined us on absolutely absurd article, administrative article on violating the rules of self-isolation and quarantine. I did not violate the rules of self-isolation and quarantine. This is unconstitutional," said Khatia Dekanoidze.

The Interior Ministry comments on the restrictions imposed on movement  from 22:00  and states that all those who do not obey the law will be fined.

Recall that yesterday, November 10, 4 activists of the rally were detained by the police before the curfew. The activists are accused of minor hooliganism and disobedience to the police. They brought firewood to the Parliament for heating.
