CEC appoints the second round - opposition has 2 days to appeal the decision

On November 13, at the final session of the CEC, Tamar Zhvania did not satisfy any claims of the opposition and appointed the second round.  There was a confrontation at the meeting, and representatives of the opposition left the meeting in protest. According to the CEC decision, the second round will be held on November 21.

The opposition now has 2 days to appeal the decision in the court.

"Tamar Zhvana is trying to report to  Bidzina Ivanishvili as soon as possible, but the more such reckless behavior will be carried out by the Central Election Commission, the faster our goal will be realized, because the population sees well where the country of Bodzina Ivanishvili is moving to".  - said "leader of the national movement" Zaal Udumashvili.

According to Levan Tarkhnishvili, a member of the European Georgia Party, the party has filed a total of 600 lawsuits, of which only one was satisfied. According to him, legal details will be followed to the end.

The Central Election Commission also failed to satisfy the complaint of the Young Lawyers Association of Georgia . According to the CEC, they failed to submit the relevant documents.

"One of the precincts of the Precinct Election Commission is still under consideration. The issue of annulment of this precinct has not been fully resolved. Nevertheless, the Didube District Election Commission has summarized this data in its summary protocol. The data should not have been summarized under the conditions, "said GYLA member Nona Kurdovanidze.

Recall that the final session of the CEC was held yesterday, November 13. They reviewed the complaints for the last time.

Today, 14 November, the opposition will hold a rally in front of Parliament at 3 pm to protest against the election results.
