Nika Gvaramia is the main obstacle of the government - the support of the opposition to the General Director of the "Main Channel"

The opposition considers the threats made against Nika Gvaramia on New Year's Eve as a manifestation of Russian-like management style and it has become clear for them that the government intends to arrest the director general of the "Mtavari Channel" as soon as possible.

Opposition members say that it  will not be possible  to intimidate Nika Gvaramia with similar threats, and the "Main Channel"will not stop even if Nika Gvaramia is arrested.

According to Gigi Ugulava, this is a usual threat to which the government typically refers to, but, according to him, what does not kill us makes us stronger.

Nino Burjanadze says that even in the hands of this reckless government she has no idea how it is possible to arrest the director of the main opposition channel.

 "From them there is nothing surprising: what is there that they have not done?"  - said Zurab Japaridze, leader of the Girchi.

As a reminder, Nika Gvaramia also said yesterday, December 12, that he understood the ambassadors' goodwill, but that Dream turned them into captive market brokers.

Nika Gvaramia also stated that he was not going to forgive anyone from the government for driving his children's psyches into serious trouble.

In addittion, Nika Gvaramia stresses that he serves the West, but periodically gets stabbed in the back, including by Kelly Degnan.
