Investigation Commission to be set up in first week of February - Kobakhidze to verify election results

Dismissed Parliament Speaker Irakli Kobakhidze says a parliamentary commission of inquiry will be set up in the first week of February.

"We encourage the opposition to participate in parliamentary work and events to explain the truth about the elections. We will check as many polling station data as it will take to establish the truth. An investigation commission will be set up in the first week of February and we will  invite all international and domestic observer organizations, including the OSCE / ODIHR, to participate in its work. Our promise remains that even in the event of a 1% deviation, the ruling party will immediately call early parliamentary elections, and I, as the head of the Dream's election headquarters, will withdraw from political activities," - Kobakhidze said.
