The prime ministerial candidate of the Georgian Dream, Irakli Gharibashvili, again criticized the United National Movement during his speech in parliament. He said that the agency is efficiently headed by Interior Minister Vakhtan Gomeluri and that every policeman is a hero. According to Gharibashvili, the " rampant anti-state" campaign waged by the UNM must be stopped.

"I fully support Mr. Gomelauri who runs his office very efficiently, I fully support every policeman, I want to sincerely thank you from this tribune, I know what it means to be a policeman, a policeman is a hero. [...] This rampant anti-state campaign conducted by the National Movement is absolutely unacceptable and absolutely inadmissible, so this chaos must end, you have my full support Mr. Vakhtang, and my full support for the police", Irakli Garibashvili said in this statement.

Recall that today, February 22, Parliament will vote for the second time for Irakli Garibashvili as Prime Minister and members of his cabinet.
