The statements of a particular person are strange and surprising – Georgian Dream  on Pavilionis

Mamuka Mdinaradze, one of the leaders of the Georgian Dream, responded to the assessments of the chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Lithuanian Parliament, Zhigimantas Pavilionis, and said that his statements were unacceptable.

According to Mdinaradze, the ambassadors of the United States and the European Union play the role of facilitators in the country, and the assessments of a "specific" person are "strange" and "surprising" to him.

"As far as I know, one of the specific representatives of one of our friendly countries, who has been trying to play the role of a facilitator in recent days, which I think is a bit surprising, because this role is quite successfully fulfilled by the Ambassadors of our country's main strategic partners, the  Ambassadors of the United States and the European Union,  whom we must once again thank, but to put it mildly,  the statements of a specific person, our Lithuanian colleague are strange and surprising, and finally as it turned out in his statements was such a phrase that you have already lost territories and now you are losing hope. Such statements are unacceptable," Mdinaradze said.

Other members of the Georgian Dream also responded to the statements made by Pavilionis. Thus , the head if the  Legal Affairs Committee, Anri  Okhanashvili  said that Georgia does not need additional facilitator in this process, whereas a Georgian dream MP, Rati Ionatamishvili said that “Friends of our country do not make such statements "
Irakli Gharibashvili, the candidate for the post of Prime Minister in the Parliament, also responded to Pavilionis' statements today and said that his assessments meant nothing to the Georgian Dream. Gharibashvili's statement was applauded by the Georgian Dream MPs.
