We have administratively detained 21 people at the UNM office

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 21 people have been detained during the special operation to arrest Nika Melia, the chairman of the National Movement.

All of them are detained under Article 173 of the Code of Administrative Offenses. They are accused of disobeying law enforcement forces.

According to the information available to us, among the detainees are UNM members Giorgi Botkoveli and Giorgi Baramidze. According to the UNM, Baramidze was physically injured and lost consciousness. Civil activists were also detained, including: Zuka Berdzenishvili, Nika Farulava, Irakli Pavlenishvili.

Recall that special forces raided the headquarters of the "National Movement", they broke down the doors and arrested Nika Melia by force. The special forces used the so-called pepper spray , injuring the citizens in the office.
