Prosecutor's office is ready to apply to the court to change Melia's pre-trial detention with bail 

The Prosecutor's Office is ready to apply to the court to change the measure of pre-trial detention against Nikanor Melia if the latter pays the bail. The relevant statement was made at the Prosecutor's Office a few minutes ago.            

We would like to emphasize that the prosecution has repeatedly stated that the detention of Nikanor Melia is not an end in itself for the prosecution. Accordingly, if the conditions of release on bail, set by the defense on November 3, 2020, are met, the prosecution is ready to apply to the Tbilisi City Court with a request to change the preventive measure applied to the accused Nikanor Melia with bail," said Amiran Guluashvili
