Rejection of the prosecutor's offer - Nika Melia's decision is unchanged

Khatia Dekanoidze, a member of the United National Movement, responds to the briefing of the Prosecutor's Office and calls the statement of the agency politically motivated.

According to her, the position of the party chairman, Nika Melia, regarding the non-payment of bail - despite the offer of the prosecutor's office - remains unchanged.

"It is a statement of those frightened. The Political Prosecutor's Office has once again confirmed that the Prosecutor's Office does not exist in Georgia as an institution and it serves only political justice.

Bail was unfair and countering the fight for freedom in which Nika and every citizen of Georgia are ... I want to remind everyone that Nika Melia made his decision, which remains the same, he is fighting for freedom. Nika feels very strong, he is well and determined," Dekanoidze said.

We would like to remind you that the Prosecutor's Office is ready to apply to the court to replace Nika Melia's pre-trial  detention with bail.
