Opposition continues to destruction, which is not in the interest of dialogue - Gharibashvili

Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili says he wants to clarify to the public the details of his meeting with Council of Europe President Charles Michel so as avoid misinterpretations.

"I want to clarify to the public so  that there is no misinterpretation of our meeting yesterday. I would like to remind you that this constructive meeting was initiated by Mr. Charles Michel, which of course I immediately agreed to, as I thought, and there is no alternative to a constructive dialogue. Of course with the reservation and the condition that there will be the same spirit on the part of the opposition. But unfortunately, just 12 hours after the meeting, absolutely inconsistent steps were taken by the opposition,  they continue destructive actions, I mean today's attempt to picket the parliament, which is absolutely against the interests of the state, the interests of our people; it does not serve this format either, the interests of the dialogue that we started yesterday," Irakli Gharibashvili said.

According to him, this action of the opposition only serves the interests of the subjects acting against our country and people and other hostile countries.
