According to the Speaker of the Parliament, Archil Talakvadze, the boycott of the opposition was a mistake, because democracy demands participation and this is a step against democratic principles.

"I would like to address once again the part of the opposition that is still in the boycott regime and by the way, yesterday a very interesting discussion was organized by the Atlantic Council, in which Mr. Girogi Khelashvili participated, where our partners and Georgian participants from the opposition said that the boycott was a mistake.We have always said that democracy requires participation and refusal to participate is a step against democratic principles", -  said Archil Talakvadze.
