Gigi Gigiadze leaves the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Former Georgian Ambassador to Denmark and Iceland Gigi Gigiadze has left the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and will continue to work at the Center for Economic Policy Research (EPRC).
Gigiadze posted about the transfer to EPRC on Facebook.

Recall that Gigiadze was the first among the diplomats who loudly expressed his support for Iveri Melashvili and Natalia Ilychova, arrested in the case of cartographers.

Gigiadze's four-year term as ambassador expired in February, after which he was transferred to the diplomatic reserve by the Foreign Ministry.ჰ
