We are concerned about the arrest of opposition party leader- Jens Stoltenberg

"We are concerned about the arrest of the leader of the opposition party," NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said at a news conference after meeting with Irakli Gharibashvili.

"NATO is an alliance built on certain values, that is, democracy, the rule of law and individual freedoms that are important to all allies. That's why the allies are concerned about recent developments in Georgia, including the arrest of an opposition party leader. We want this conflict to be resolved and for Georgia to have a well-functioning parliament," Stoltenberg said.
