Agreement cannot be reached without release of political prisoners and snap elections - Ako Minashvili

"If our two main demands, the release of political prisoners and early elections, which are important for our country, are rejected, no agreement can be reached," Ako Minashvili, a member of the United National Movement, said after the meeting.

There are two main priority issues for all the opposition parties and us in particular: the release of political prisoners and early elections. Given the mood of the Georgian Dream expressed in open communication, it is natural that an agreement will not be easy. If these people refuse to meet our two main demands, the release of political prisoners and early elections, which are important for our country, no agreement will be reached, and it will be a step on their part against the EU and Europe,"  said Ako Minashvili.
