Prosecutor's office charges the detainee accused of shooting at the UNM office

The prosecutor's office has charged Dimitri Kasrelishvili with assault on the office of the United National Movement.

According to the statement of the Prosecutor General's Office, Kasrelishvili is charged with Article 236, Part 3 (illegal purchase and storage of ammunition), Article 265, Part 1, and Article 2731, Parts 2 and 4 ( Illegal sowing, cultivation of a drug-containing plant and illegal possession of marijuana) , which envisages a sentence of 3 to 6 years in prison.

According to the statement, during the search of the house of the accused, a pneumatic pistol, 179 ammunition cartridges for automatic firearms and marijuana were seized.

According to the agency, in order to determine the damage caused by the deliberate damage to the banner placed on the facade of the office of the "National Movement", a commodity expert examination was appointed, after the conclusion of which, D.K.'s accusation may be specified.

The prosecutor's office has already applied to the Tbilisi City Court with a motion to use detention as a measure of restraint for the accused.
