I think Danielson will return to Georgia soon and the talks will continue

In an interview with the Mtavari Channel, RFE / RL's Brussels bureau journalist and political commentator say that Christian Danielson, the personal envoy of the European Council President Charles Michel, will return to Georgia and continue the mediation process between the opposition and the Dream. He said the negotiations are a difficult process and the result will not be achieved in a few weeks.

"Joseph Borrell and the EU foreign ministers will discuss in detail how the talks between the government and the opposition went. I think they will discuss how to make progress. The mediation of Charles Michel and Christian Danielson will have their support since the country needs an agreement, which is very important," - said Rikard Jozwiak.

He said he had heard from diplomats that they were concerned about what was happening in Georgia today and that Charles Michel was late in getting engaged.

For information, the agreement between the personal envoy of Charles Michel, Christian Danielson, the Georgian Dream and the representatives of the opposition could not be reached. Danielson flew to Brussels on the morning of 19 March.
