"The American side has made it clear to the Georgian opposition and our society that the Georgian Dream has been on a clearly pro-Western course since 2012 and has never deviated from that course," said Tea Tsulukiani.
For Tsulukiani, the harsh tone of the senators refers only to the opposition:
"The US political spectrum has said it relies on the OSCE / ODIHR report that says that the 2020 parliamentary elections were held in a free environment and therefore met democratic standards. The American political spectrum also told the opposition what is important for our democratic process. They told them that the opposition should enter parliament, and I have high hopes that the opposition will do just that," Tea Tsulukiani said.
We would like to remind you that on March 23, the US Senate hosted a debate on the current political crisis in Georgia at a meeting of the Foreign Affairs Committee.
