Speculations, slanders from the opposition put to an end- Gharibashvili on Senators

Published:

The Prime Minister, Irakli Gharibashvili, makes the first comment on the debates on the current political crisis in Georgia in the US Senate and says that according to the Senators, all speculations by the opposition have come to an end.

"First of all, I would like to thank the US Senate and the State Department, in particular Mr. George Kent, for their assessments, fair assessments and objectivity. This hearing and the assessments made there once again show that Georgia is one of the most important partner states in our region for the US.

All speculations have put to an end by these statements, and most importantly, absurd accusations and slanders, speculations on any topic that we heard from the opposition were put to an end,"- Irakli Gharibashvili said.

According to Gharibashvili, the opposition has two choices: first - to take into account the calls of the partners and enter the parliament "to end the artificial crisis and masquerade" and second - to take the path of marginalization.

We would like to remind you that on March 23, the US Senate hosted a debate on the current political crisis in Georgia at a meeting of the Foreign Affairs Committee.
