Giorgi Paniashvili, a former employee of the Georgian Embassy in Britain, writes that he was fired for expressing dissenting opinions and writing critical articles.
Paniashvili posted a post on Facebook, noting that first administrative proceedings were launched against him, and then he was released "for the purpose of reorganization."
"Freedoms of thought, freedom of expression, of writing, of discussion - these are the freedoms that should have been the locomotive of a better, European future. Taking care of these freedoms and protecting them is an integral part of European affairs.
These freedoms should not be the subject of systematic attacks, especially by an agency such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and should not be the basis for administrative proceedings / harassment, discrimination and reorganization," Giorgi Paniashvili wrote.
According to the information posted on the embassy website, Giorgi Paniashvili worked as a senior advisor.
