The population is not interested in the agenda of our opponents at all - Papuashvili

According to Shalva Papuashvili, Chairman of the  Parliamentary Committee for Education, Science and Culture, the population is "not interested in the opposition agenda at all" and the ruling team is "ready for negotiations."

"There is a specific group among our opponents that is aimed at disrupting the talks. The population is  facing completely different challenges and problems, and they are not at all concerned about the agenda of our opponents, be it entering the parliament or snap elections. The population is interested in pandemic and health issues, economic situation, etc. These are real problems. That was the pathos of the Prime Minister's statement and it is time for our opponents to change their agenda. As for negotiations and dialogues, we are ready, but it should not be a big part of our agenda." - says Papuashvili.

As for the information that Irakli Gharibashvili will replace Irakli Kobakhidze as the chairman of the “Georgian Dream”, Papuashvili said that the team "is not discussing this, and is a lie."
