Georgian citizen extradited to Russia - - Boris Tsiklauri’s case

Boris Tsiklauri, a resident of the village of Matani in Akhmeta Municipality, has been extradited to Russia. A 42-year-old will wait for the final verdict in a Russian prison.
Boris Tsiklauri is accused by the Russian side of the murder committed in 1999, for which he has already been sentenced. Nevertheless, he was still wanted by the Red Circular. He was finally arrested when he was on his way to Italy, from where he was extradited to Russia.
Family members say that Georgia and the Georgian government have done nothing to protect the Georgian citizen.
Tsiklauri's lawyer says that the Russian side submitted documents about his client as if he was a citizen of the Russian Federation, which is a lie.
