"We did not have a meeting with the government party. I know there was a meeting before us" - Mamuka Khazaradze, the leader of "Lelo", made this statement after leaving the EU Delegation to Georgia, where he met with US Ambassador Kelly Degnan and EU Ambassador Carl Hartzell.
According to him, the 5-point framework plan prepared by Charles Michel was discussed at yesterday’s meeting.
“We reaffirmed “Lelo's” position that “Lelo for Georgia”, as well as other opposition parties, agrees with 3 out of 5 points, We had a discussion on the remaining 2 points. We have discussed various options, we cannot go into details, but I want to confirm once again that there is a lot of attention to Georgia, there is a great effort to finally reset Georgia. - This is the task now to reset the country and reset does not mean that the opposition is to enter the parliament," says Khazaradze.
According to him, today's meeting also discussed the question of the release of the chairman of the "National Movement" Nika Melia.
"There is a very serious attempt to look for possibilities to resolve the issue in such a way that the issues raised by the opposition can be achieved, because Badri Japaridze and I have not discussed other issues and directions from a different angle," he said.
