The continuation of tax benefits for businesses will not be considered – Kakauridze

“ I believe, that by adhering to the in place regulations of the country, we can endure this period without further regulations. Therefore, application of more benefits will not be considered, because every further benefit is increasing the deficit, which in the end will leave a very bad mark on the economy, we are already at a stage of deficit, where any increase would be counterproductive to the economy” says Kakauridze.

According to Deputy Minister of Finance, the continuation of tax benefits for businesses will not be considered. Giorgi Kakauridze says that additional benefits will increase the deficit and negatively affect the economy.

"I believe that by adhering to the rules that exist in the country, we will be able to pass  this period without additional restrictions. Therefore, in this case, additional benefits cannot be imposed, because each additional benefit is an additional deficit, which ultimately has a very negative impact on the economy. We already have the deficit level, the growth of which would be counterproductive for the economy" Kakauridze said.
