In principle, we are ready to sign the agreement document – Talakvadze

Published:

According to Parliament chairman Archil Talakvadze, the ruling team is ready to sign the document submitted by Danielsson. Talakvadze hopes that the opposition will reconsider its attitudes.

“The authorities had a principled readiness for all the issues raised in the dialogue. We said clearly during the dialogue mediated by Mr. Danielsson that the ruling team, “Georgian Dream”, is ready to sign the agreement document and end this dialogue in a positive way. Of course, our readiness exists in this regard. I hope that the opposition will reconsider its answers and attitudes.” said Talakvadze

The second round of talks between the “Georgian Dream” and the opposition was held on March 30 through the mediation of the Special Representative of the President of the Council of Europe. 8 hours of negotiations between the parties again ended in vain. The document proposed by Christian Danielsson was not signed by either of the parties.
