No illegal orders were issued on June 20 - Mikheil Daushvili

No illegal orders were issued on June 20, and the mistakes that existed, of course, must have received and do receive the appropriate response  - said Giorgi Gakharia's teammate and member of his future party Mikheil Daushvili in the program "Guest of the Day".

The dispersal of the June 20 rally and evaluation of these events is one of the main questions that the media has today with the former Prime Minister's teammates.

When asked who ordered the use of bear bullets, Daushvili answered:

“One thing is what they say  and the other is what was broadcast live ....
If we recall what happened there, more than 2 hours after the violent assault on the Parliament, the police guarded the Parliament building, the legislature without the use of active special means and only after it became impossible to repel this violent assault did the police start using active means," Daushvili said.

Gakharia's teammate believes that on June 20, the police used proportionate and legitimate force:

"There were misdemeanors and those misdemeanors should be prosecuted and the respective cases are being considered in court, but in the end the process was legal and the force used was proportionate," said Mikhail Daushvili  in the program. "Guest of the Day on “Mtavari Channel”.
