Kobakhidze meets with Senators - Georgian Dream spreads information about his visit to the U.S.

Georgian Dream Chairman Irakli Kobakhidze, along with party international secretary Kakha Kuchava and Georgian Dream parliamentary faction deputy chairman Irakli Chikovani, met with Senators Jeanne Shaheen and Ron Johnson.

According to the party statement, Kobakhidze provided the Senators with "detailed information" about the processes taking place in the region and in Georgia in particular.

Irakli Kobakhidze provided the Senators with detailed information on the ongoing political processes in the region and in Georgia in particular and listened to their recommendations and opinions in this regard. Special attention was paid to the process of dialogue. -  the statement says.


During the visit, the Georgian delegation has already met with Senator James Risch, State Department and White House officials, George Kent and Chris Smith, congressmen, leaders of the Friendship Group with Georgia, Adam Kinzinger and Jerry Connolly.  The visit to the U.S. will end on April 16, after which Irakli Kobakhidze will travel to Brussels and meet with European Council President Charles Michel.
