Both sides should negotiate in good faith - Senators on Georgia

Following Irakli Kobakhidze's visit to Washington, democrat Chairman of the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee Subcommittee on Europe and Regional Security Jeanne Shaheen and Republican Sen. Ron Johnson, a senior member of the Republican Party, gave a written comment to VOA.

"The Senators hope to see a speedy resolution to the current political stalemate so that Georgian lawmakers can focus on issues that are important to the Georgian people. Both sides need to negotiate in good faith and in coordination with the European Union and the United States to build a strong, transparent and accountable democracy." the statement reads.
