Members of the opposition parties who signed the document of the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, arrived in Parliament. Before entering the session, they made an extraordinary statement. According to Salome Samadashvili, a member of the United National Movement, the opposition hopes that the ruling team will not violate the provisions of the agreement.

"We hope that all clauses of the agreement, as well as its spirit, will not be violated by the Georgian authorities. I also want to express hope that in the coming days, specifically today, we will see the release of one political prisoner, Giorgi Rurua, and in the coming days, Nika Melia, Which will enable the full spectrum of the opposition to sign this agreement and together we will be able to implement and execute this agreement, in its spirit and not just the recordings made in the agreement" Samadashvili said.
Samadashvili noted that she would visit Nika Melia prison in the coming days. She said that she really wanted Melia to meet Easter with his family.
"Lelo" leader Badri Japaridze said the opposition came to the parliament today in order to initiate the amnesty law and implement the provisions of the document. According to him, early elections will definitely be held in October.
