Kakha Kuchava elected as the Chairman of the Parliament

The Parliament of the 10th convocation elected Kakha Kuchava as the Chairman. Voting in the legislature has just ended. 

Kuchava's candidacy was supported by 86 MPs, while 6 were against.

His candidacy was supported in the courtroom by "citizens" and "European socialists".

We would like to remind you that Archil Talakvadze resigned 3 days ago, on April 24. On the same day, "Georgian Dream" nominated Kakha Kuchava as a Parliamentary speaker. It was reported that Talakvadze would be the Tbilisi mayoral candidate in the self-government elections, but today he called it a "deliberate gossip" with the media.
