Politician Davit Bakradze says that his position is unchanged and he did not attend today's sitting of the parliament, because he will be fully involved in parliamentary activities after the release of Giorgi Rurua, and when the June 20 amnesty law is put to a vote.
"Full-fledged parliamentary activities will not be possible until concrete results are achieved in the case of the release of political prisoners. In accordance with this position, I do not attend the plenary session of the Parliament today and I do not participate in its work. My position is unchanged - my full involvement in parliamentary activities will be possible only with concrete results, in particular, after the release of Giorgi Rurua and the amnesty law agreed upon with Nika Melia, which reflects the expectations of the public and the opposition is put on vote" says Davit Bakradze.
He expressed support for his opposition colleagues who entered parliament today.
Recall that today, April 27, the opposition that signed the agreement entered the parliament. Presumably, the president should issue an act of pardon for one of the founders of the "Mtavari Channel" Giorgi Rurua, today.
