"There is practically no move left, he has to agree to bail" - "Dream" on Nika Melia

"We will pass the amnesty law. If Nika Melia wants to continue the court dispute, he can do it," Georgian Dream MP Irakli Kadagishvili responded to the June 20 amnesty bill.

He said that Nika Melia was trying to gain popularity and appear as a martyr in violation of the law, but in reality he is now forced to agree to bail.

"All his statements were  aimed to make him appear to be a hero fighting for freedom and injustice. In fact, he turned into a man who broke the law and wanted to gain popularity. In fact he was transformed into a man who broke the law and with this violation wanted to gain popularity and appear as a martyr, he actually found himself in prison and is now forced to agree to bail.

The opposition is in a very difficult situation by first inciting Nika Melia to violate the law. There were many instigators, we see that many oppositionists visit the prison to somehow redeem their position in front of Nika Melia, so that Nika Melia would not be angry with them." said Irakli Kadagishvili.

"As for the bail, there will be no other policy, there is practically no move left, he must be agree to the bail and he must be released but he cannot leave his role and function, which is called Storm Arrangement Brigadier. This is the role he played and he could not become a political hero and a political martyr. They invent some nonsense and want to create an uncertain situation around it. Work is needed here and the resources for this work do not have a specific political force and everyone should be involved in the process, which they themselves planned. The only winner in this situation turns out to be without power, Russia, and practically on foot is the policy pursued by the "National Movement", says a member of the parliamentary majority, Gia Volski about the chairman of the "National Movement" Nika Melia and the protracted law on amnesty.

We would like to remind you that at the moment Nika Melia is meeting the lawyers at Rustavi prison.

Nika Melia's position on the June 20 amnesty is unchanged, it is unacceptable for him to put the perpetrators, persons issuing the orders and the victims on one side.

As for the bail issue, Nika Melia said he would agree to the bail offered by the EU if the initiative for an amnesty bill was withdrawn from Charles Michel's document.
