Russian occupiers start preparatory works for illegal borderization in Kareli

The Russian occupiers reappeared in Kareli municipality today and started the preparations for the borderization. Occupying forces appeared on the perimeter of the villages of Tamarasheni and Ghogheti in the morning.
Locals say they made so-called fire pits for about 10 kilometers, this is the place where wooden poles were erected a few days ago.

"The Russians can be seen almost every day, they were here today, they arrived an hour ago, we were there yesterday as well and they came, As we know, from Ghogheti gardens to Tamarasheni forest, they are occupying our territories, they are moving little by little, day by day, we did not see anyone from the government nether today nor yesterday, "said Emzad Osidze, a local. 

The anti-occupation movement suggests that the extension of the groundworks is part of the borderization and they should expect the construction of barbed wire or fences on the ground.

The State Security Service has traditionally said that a hotline has been set up and an observation mission has been informed.
