"Before I make a decision, I have to meet with partner political parties" - Melia's position on mayoral candidacy

Nika Melia has not yet decided whether to run in the elections - Koba Nakopia, a member of the UNM political council, made the statement after meeting with Melia.

"He told me directly that before he  makes any decision, he has to meet with partner political parties. He will not be able to decide until he  consults  the representatives of both the parliamentary and non-parliamentary opposition, as well as the United National Movement party and its leadership," Nakopia said, after the meeting.
