Koba Nakopia delivered Nika Melia's political messages from prison cell 224. The opposition leader has not yet made a decision on whether he will run for mayor in the local self-government elections. After being released, Nika Melia will hold consultations with his teammates and then with all members of the opposition.

He takes an unwavering stance on the way of  his release and says that freedom will not be exchanged for the amnesty of the violent policemen and butchers of June 20.

Melia also responded to Giorgi Vashadze's statements from the prison cell when the “Strategy Aghmashenebeli” leader attacked the chairman of the UNM.

Charles Michel's signatories today tried to convince the public that the bill would not be passed with this wording, although they could not specify it.

This June 20 version of the amnesty bill shows that the Georgian Dream leaves Nick Melia in jail because Melia does not agree with the amnesty.

The ruling party also did not change its position and said that the contested entry in Article 1 would not be removed from the draft.
